KARA FOR BIG BEAR LAKE CITY COUNCIL - DISTRICT 2
"Let’s elect people who are actively working, building businesses, and investing in the future of this community."
My Story
A Little About Me
My journey took me from enjoying Big Bear, to creating and building a business here, to becoming deeply invested in this community’s future.
Living here means more than loving the mountain; it means contributing to the community and taking responsibility for the place we call home.
I have served on the Board of the Big Bear Chamber of Commerce since 2020. Over the past 12 years living in Big Bear, I have consistently shown up—attending public meetings and focus groups, supporting fundraisers, participating in community events, and staying engaged in the conversations shaping our future.
I have always been a dreamer, a creator, and someone who isn’t afraid to do the work required to turn an idea into something real.
Community Vision
Big Bear is my Home.
Big Bear is where I've built my life, opened businesses, and found lifelong friendships. I plan to live in Big Bear for a very long time, and I am deeply invested in what happens next.
I understand the challenges facing our residents, employees, families, and small-business owners because I experience them alongside you.
The decisions made by the City Council affect OUR homes, OUR work, OUR friends and family, and OUR future.
Longtime locals and community leaders have helped me understand how Big Bear has evolved. I want to help make today’s thoughtful decisions so that, years from now, I can pass on not only a thriving community, but an understanding of how and why it was built to the next generation.

This is me...
I’m not a career politician.
I believes it takes real people who are actively involved and connected to keep Big Bear somewhere to love to call home. People who are genuine. That is me, and that is why I am running for City Council.
